From Far Away (Kanata Kara) anime is based on the completed fantasy romance manga written and illustrated by Kyoko Hikawa. It is widely considered a classic of the fantasy-romance in isekai genre. From Far Away Story

The story follows Noriko Tachiki, an ordinary, Japanese high school student. While walking home from school, an explosion from a terrorist bomb tears through her neighborhood. Instead of getting hurt, the shockwave tears through space and time, instantly transporting her into a barren wasteland of a mysterious fantasy world. Noriko speaks a completely different language and cannot understand the inhabitants of this new world. Shortly after arriving, she is attacked by terrifying monsters but she is rescued by a powerful, traveling warrior named Izark Kia Tarj.

The world is in chaos due to an ancient, dark prophecy The Awakening A being from another world will arrive to awaken the Sky Demon. The Sky Demon A monstrous entity destined to bring absolute destruction to the world. And Izark is secretly the vessel for the Sky Demon. He intends to find and kill The Awakening to prevent his dark transformation and save the world.

However, when he realizes the prophesied Awakening is just an innocent, helpless girl (Noriko) who cannot even speak the language, he cannot bring himself to kill her. Instead, he decides to protect her and keep her hidden from the world. As Noriko slowly learns the language and adapts to the world, political factions and dark sorcerers realize she has arrived Ruthless figures like Rachef and Keimos hunt the duo to force Noriko to unleash Izark’s demonic powers for their own military gain. So the story is a slow-burn epic tracking Noriko and Izark as they travel together, trying to defy fate, protect each other, and find a way to seal the darkness inside Izark forever.

The official website for From Far Away (Kanata Kara) has confirmed that the upcoming television anime will run for two consecutive cours, Which has gonna total 24 episodes. Because the production committee intends to adapt the entire 14-volume manga story without leaving a incomplete story.
