Shangri-La Frontier Season 3 anime will cover the Global Games Competition (GGC) Arc, shifting focus away from the main RPG world into a high-stakes e-sports arena. Sunraku (Rakuro), Pencilgon (Towa), and Oikatzo (Kei) temporarily step away from Shangri-La Frontier to play a highly competitive hero-versus-villain fighting game called Galaxia Heroes: Chaos (GH:C). So They team up to enter a professional tournament.

They must go head-to-head against some of the absolute best international pro-gamers in the world, including the elite American team, Star Rain. Because it is a fighting game, Sunraku cannot rely on his usual RPG stats or broken equipment. Instead, he must adapt his pure mechanical reflexes, mind games, and even mimic boss moves (like Wezaemon’s) to win. Once the tournament concludes, the story will transition back into the main Shangri-La Frontier universe. The group heads deep underwater to explore the Abyss City. This section focuses heavily on preparing for and tracking down the next legendary Unique Monster boss: Ctarnidd of the Abyss, an octopus-like colossus creature.

Episode & Streaming Details

The total episode count for Shangri-La Frontier Season 3 has not been officially announced yet. However, looking at the production history of the franchise, both Season 1 (25 episodes) and Season 2 (26 episodes) ran for two consecutive courses (roughly half a year of continuous weekly broadcasting). Because Season 3 is set to cover the lengthy Global Games Competition (GGC) tournament arc , so it will likely follow the same 24 to 26 episode.
