JJK Season 3 Episode 12 showed us civilians being rescued by Yuta Okkotsu but why were they there in the Culling Game first place ?
What exactly were the civilians doing in the Culling Game? In Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, Episode 12, we see ordinary people whom Yuta Okkotsu is in the process of saving. However, the real question is: what were these ordinary people doing there in the first place? After all, at the beginning of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 9, we saw Kenjaku personally offer all civilians a chance to exit the Culling Game. Not only that, but he even escorted people out of the Culling Game one by one himself this is because if any human for any reason whatsoever remains within the Culling Game’s boundaries, they automatically become a player in the game. Consequently, the question arises despite being fully aware of the situation, why did these people choose to stay in the Culling Game? And perhaps most baffling of all how are these civilians still alive?
Ans. Some civilians refused to leave when Kenjaku gave them the chance to exit. They stayed behind because they did not want to abandon their homes and property even at the cost of their lives.
Q2. Why did civilians not remember Kenjaku properly after leaving the Culling Games in JJK Season 3?
Ans. Everyone who came out remembered Kenjaku like a dream. This was confirmed by Takeshi Iguchi a member of Yuji Itadori’s Voluntary Research Members. Because it felt like a dream they did not take it seriously.
Q3. Why were civilians still alive in Sendai Colony in JJK Season 3?
Ans.Because of the four way deadlock between Kurourushi, Dhruv Lakdawalla, Ryu Ishigori and Takako Uro. No sorcerer could enter another sorcerer’s territory so the civilians near Dhruv Lakdawalla’s area stayed completely safe.
Q4. Why was Kurourushi not killing civilians in JJK Season 3?
Ans. Kurourushi was afraid of Dhruv Lakdawalla. As long as Dhruv Lakdawalla was alive Kurourushi stayed dormant because any attack would have resulted in his destruction by Dhruv Lakdawalla’s Shikigami.
Q5. Why did Yuta Okkotsu kill Dhruv Lakdawalla in JJK Season 3 Episode 12?
Ans. To rescue the civilians. Without Uta’s intervention the civilians would have died eventually because they could not make points in the Culling Games and their technology would have been taken away from them by the rules of the Culling Games.
Q6. What happens to a human who stays in the Culling Games?
Ans. Any human who remains inside the Culling Games automatically becomes a player. If they cannot collect points their technology gets taken away and they eventually die.
