Black Clover Episode 4 has been released, and Asta has made his entry into the Spade Kingdom!

Nacht vs. Lilith and Naamah: A Deadly Battle Begins!

At the beginning of the episode, we see Finral bringing Asta to the Spade Kingdom. After that, the scene shifts directly to Nacht, who is facing two opponents: Lilith and Naamah. Bro, he is really afraid of them because they are Supreme Devils, and Nacht is thinking that he must take them away from there. I mean, Dante is fighting right there in the same place. Nacht says he has to take them aside because if Dante stays there, defeating them will be almost impossible. Jack is also in a really bad state.

But still, Nacht says he has to put a little bit of faith in Jack. Meaning, if he takes a little more beating, it’ll be fine. Now, Nacht uses his Shadow Magic. Through his shadow, he teleports them away to another location. Seeing this, Lilith and Naamah are also a bit shocked, wondering what this guy just did. I mean, he teleported us!

Nacht is even ready to kill himself to defeat those two. That’s when we are shown Nacht’s past and why exactly he joined the Magic Knights. What happened in his past life?

Nacht’s Tragic Past: The Story of His Twin Brother

In his past, we are shown that Nacht had a younger brother named Morgen, who looked exactly like him. Meaning, both brothers were twins. Now, it is shown that Nacht’s initial behavior was very shady and rude, while his brother was the exact opposite. He used to help people, and people loved him. But nobody liked his older brother, Nacht.

Their magic was also different. Morgen had Light Magic, while Nacht had Shadow Magic, as you already know. This is where Yami first met Nacht. It was the first time Nacht found someone with magic similar to his own. Nacht went to Yami because he had discovered that another guy had magic like his. So, they started getting along quite well. Both started hanging out a lot.

But gradually, Yami joined the Magic Knights, while Nacht didn’t. Instead, his younger brother, Morgen, joined the same Magic Knight squad. Slowly, the friendship between Morgen and Yami began to grow quite a lot. Seeing all this, Nacht chose a different path, which involved Shadow Magic.

Then one day, his family called Nacht home and said, “Brother, you have to study devils for us.” Hearing and seeing this, Nacht was quite shocked and excited. As he saw what was happening underground, he thought, “What is all this?” Since his family studied devils there, Nacht became very excited and started his journey to study them. In the process, he made contact with four devils the same four he has now, as you know. His family was very happy to see that their eldest son had made contact with four devils.

Now, Nacht’s parents gave him a bracelet that would help him make contact with a Supreme Devil. Seeing this, Nacht was also excited, thinking, “Now, let’s make contact with a greater devil.” But just as he summoned the devil, his parents told him that the underworld was ruled by three individuals three devils associated with time, space, and gravity magic. This Supreme Devil supported all of them.

Nacht summoned him, and as soon as the devil arrived, he killed everyone around him except Nacht.

But just then, Nacht’s brother also arrived. Seeing all this, he was quite shocked. Of course, Nacht was in a bad state because he couldn’t handle that much power, and he realized what a huge mistake he had made by summoning the Supreme Devil. Seeing this, his brother came to save him and started breaking the bracelet he was wearing with his Light Magic. But because of that, his condition worsened, and, of course, he was killed there.

Seeing this, Nacht became extremely sad. He felt deep sorrow because his wonderful brother had been killed because of him. The scene shifts to the other side, where Nacht is sitting by his brother’s grave. Just then, Yami comes up behind him. Yami wasn’t exactly that shocked to see this, but still, he must have been at least a little bit shocked.

Here, Yami says, “Did you ever think that I would become a Magic Knight Captain? And if that happens, bro, you will be my Vice-Captain.” Saying this, he leaves, and that’s how we are shown how Nacht joined the Magic Knights.

Nacht’s Last Stand and Asta’s Epic Entry!

Now, Nacht is thinking about all of this while fighting the devils. After this, he drops the classic dialogue: “I will surpass my limits right here, right now!”

Then, he tries to defeat Lilith and Naamah by using all four of his modes. But man, he couldn’t defeat them because they were Supreme Devils, and Lilith and Naamah were enjoying themselves immensely. They weren’t affected at all by anything Nacht was doing.

Now, Nacht says, “Bro, this won’t work. I have to defeat them at any cost!” He cannot let these two Supreme Devils get out of there. Seeing these two devils, I could understand that, of course, the way they were talking and laughing and the dubbing is amazing they didn’t seem as much like devils as they actually were.

So now Nacht gets serious and uses his final move, Shadow Realm, to stop them both. Meaning, he first uses Devil Union Mode. After that, he uses a Shadow Magic skill that shifts things around, and he is about to crush Lilith and Naamah underneath it.

At this point, Nacht’s power reaches the level of a Supreme Devil, and his skill is successful. It seals them both, but then we are shown that the seal breaks. Nacht is thrown out, and Lilith and Naamah also get out. Seeing this, Nacht is completely stunned because he has given it his all. But still, he couldn’t defeat them or seal them.

Now Lilith and Naamah also get serious. They use their Devil Flame Magic, and one of them also has Ice Magic. Using Ice Magic, they freeze a bunch of ice shards onto Nacht’s hand, causing him a lot of pain. He is screaming quite a lot. Now both devils say that it is time to finish this guy off. Seeing these two devils acting like this, Nacht thinks to himself that no one can stop them.

Just then, our brother Asta makes an entry from behind!

As soon as Nacht sees Asta, he realizes that if anyone can stop them, it’s Asta with his Anti-Magic. As soon as Asta arrives, he cuts off Nacht’s hand, seeing which even Naamah is a bit shocked, thinking, “What just happened?”

Even then, the devils don’t stop laughing. Brother, now looking at Asta, Nacht says that all the cards are on the table, and everything will be fine. But Asta says, “Don’t say that! You still have to fight, stay alive, and do everything.” Nacht’s little devil, who is near Asta, also comes forward and says that Nacht has to stay alive; otherwise, they are doomed.

One thing to notice here is that Nacht’s devils are also quite friendly, just like humans. Like Liebe!

Here, Asta fights those two devils, but they still give him a tough fight because Asta is only cutting them. He isn’t able to cause them much damage. Just then, Asta pulls out his sword, the Demon-Destroyer Sword, and cuts Naamah right down the middle. Seeing this, even Nacht is shocked.

And here, Lilith still doesn’t stop laughing. She says that Naamah went first. Then, Lilith absorbs him and transforms into a strange form. Meaning, both devils are now in one body. They break through the ceiling and head out into the sky, and Asta follows them to chase them.

Asta’s Giant Sword vs. The Supreme Devil’s Power!

Now Lilith says that Asta might survive, but all these people won’t. She creates such a massive magic ball that the entire Spade Kingdom is under threat. The people down below are terrified, thinking that it’s all over for them.

But Asta says, “What happened? You might have become huge, but that’s no problem. I will make my sword bigger, too!” In the meantime, Asta says that he can’t sense the opponent’s magic, so he doesn’t know how terrifying she looks to those who can sense magic. This is Asta’s advantage. Meaning, he doesn’t even realize how incredibly powerful and terrifying his opponent is.

Suddenly, Asta makes his sword so large that it becomes like a bat and stops that magic circle. He makes his sword so huge that I was thinking, man, this is impossible! How can a guy wield such a massive sword? I mean, sure, having magic is one thing, but I was shocked by the weight of his sword!

They were all watching from below. That was Magna and some other guy, man, that guy! So yeah, their fight ends here. The episode ends right there, but the fight isn’t over, as it will continue in the next episode.
