So finally, episode three of Black Clover Season 2 has been released. So, let’s quickly talk about everything that happened in today’s episode.

The Dark Triad Reaches 100% Devil Power

In the last episode, we saw that all three members of the Dark Triad were facing a really tough challenge. They were almost defeated. But in today’s episode, we found out they haven’t lost. Their power has actually increased.

I mean, at the start of the episode, we saw Zenon was shocked that Yuno had put a hole in his body. But he says there’s no need to worry because the first gate has been opened thanks to Morris. Because of this, the power of all three members of the Dark Triad, which was at 80%, has now reached 100% after the gate opened.

This means all three are at full power, and the fact that they were losing is no longer the case. Zenon’s body fully transforms and gets completely covered in a skeletal structure. On the other side, Vanica or whatever that woman’s name is, the one Charlotte had trapped in her flowers also breaks free. Dante transforms, too, meaning he gets long ears just like an elf. As soon as Dante reaches his full power, he first beats up Jack, literally destroys him, and throws him aside.

Meanwhile, Nacht says that devastation is coming and no one will survive because he is facing Naamah and Lilith, who are the highest-ranking devils and are just playing around with him. Nacht realizes this, too, but he says that before fighting them, it is essential to stop Morris. If Morris keeps working like this, all the gates will open, and then it will be impossible to stop these devils.

Two Ancient Demons?! The Clover Kingdom Is in Danger

Now the scene shifts. We are shown that the Ancient Demon whom Mereoleona was beating has stood up again. This time, he isn’t just standing; he’s absorbing mana from the entire environment. And this reveals an even more shocking fact: there isn’t just one Ancient Demon; there are two. One is in the Spade Kingdom, and another has been released in the Clover Kingdom. All of this was part of the Dark Triad’s plan.

Now, the backstory of these two massive Ancient Demons is revealed. They used to be royalty and were close friends, but they became enemies. Their rivalry grew so intense, and they fought so much, that they eventually transformed into Ancient Demons. So, this is a brief look at their past. Mereoleona arrives in the Spade Kingdom to fight the Ancient Demon, but there is no one in the Clover Kingdom. Zenon tells Yuno about this, and Yuno is also shocked, wondering what has happened to the Clover Kingdom.

Just then, Yuno says that it doesn’t matter because things will be very bad for Zenon. They are still there, after all. This is referring to the people who are still fighting in the present day. At the same time, since the first gate has opened, minor devils are coming out and have started attacking the people of the Spade Kingdom.

On the other side, we get to see the Clover Kingdom once again, where the second Ancient Demon has awakened and wants to destroy the entire kingdom. No one is able to stop it. All the Vice-Captains and members of the Magic Knights are trying to fight it, but nobody can stop it because it is drawing mana from the environment.

Even the Wizard King enters his full form for a while, using his Scale Magic and getting help from that guy. But still, he is unable to stop it. At that moment, everyone feels that all hope is lost. Nothing will remain because the demon has created such a massive ball of magic that it covers the entire Clover Kingdom.

Asta’s Devil Union: The Epic Battle Begins

If Asta hadn’t arrived, everyone would have been wiped out. Just then, Asta makes his entry and plunges his entire sword into the magic sphere the demon has created. That’s when he transforms into his Devil Union form, and man, he looks so dangerous! I mean, his entire body transforms, and these little spheres appear along his sides, just like Naruto, alright?

Now he starts beating up the Ancient Demon. Seeing him fight such a huge monster, all the Magic Knights are shocked. Some are happy, while those who were jealous are a bit upset. But the normal citizens feel like there is a demon on one side and another devil on the other. What is even going on? Both of them have come to destroy our Clover Kingdom! Of course, they don’t know it’s Asta.

So, Asta’s lover Rebecca Scarlet says, No, no, that’s Asta!

Of course, Asta fights an intense battle here. He cuts off the demon’s tail and other parts, then cuts off its arms. Finally, he slices it right down the middle because Asta needs to finish the fight quickly. He can only maintain Devil Union Mode for five minutes. So he has to do whatever he can within that time limit.

Once the demon is killed, everyone is overjoyed.

Just then, Asta’s little devil tells him that they need to get to Nacht immediately because his life is in danger. So, Asta says that even with Devil Union Mode, he can’t reach the Spade Kingdom that quickly. How is he going to get there in time?

Just then, his Devil Union Mode wears off, and as he is falling, he reaches a place using spatial magic. You should understand whose spatial magic that is! it’s Finral Roulacase, this guy from the Black Bulls who uses spatial magic. Now All of them get ready to go to the Spade Kingdom, and Asta is very happy to see all the members.

The Black Bulls Return! Luck Goes Crazy

Now the story shifts to the Spade Kingdom, which has been completely devastated. A lot of devils are emerging from there, and the Spade Kingdom’s Magic Defense Force is trying to save all the citizens. But nothing much is happening because there are so many devils.

Here, our guy Sekke is doing something quite comedic. Some people are using Cotton Magic, and there is one more guy here. Okay? Volt, who used to be a villain, is also saving all the citizens, and our girl with the glasses is helping out, too. As more and more devils start appearing, Finral feels that things are getting out of hand. Just then, the Black Bulls make their entry. Luck, Noelle, and a few others who were training in the Heart Kingdom all appear, and they have become much stronger.

They have learned True Magic. I mean, after going to the Heart Kingdom, they went to the Dryad with Luck and another elf, where they learned Ultimate Magic. This was possible because they had learned the Mana Method in the Heart Kingdom, which significantly increased their magic capacity and allowed them to learn Ultimate Magic.

After that, they come to the Spade Kingdom and beat the hell out of all the devils. That scene looks really crazy because the action is so powerful. They finish off all the low-level devils, so they think everything is fine. But that’s not the case, man! Mid-ranking devils emerge, and the speed Luck shows is just crazy. I mean, seeing him kill all those devils, I felt like he was the real devil, bro! He is a crazy guy.

Another interesting thing happens here. As soon as Luck and Noelle arrive, they protect all the citizens using an array. I mean, they are using their full power and have set up arrays around the citizens, which means the citizens won’t be hit by their magic. That looks really cool.

And along with that, let’s talk about our Noelle. Seeing Noelle’s dress was fun, but I was thinking, man, since you made it this short, you could have made it even shorter! Honestly, as it was flying, I felt like it was way too small, but it still looked good. Not only that, Fuegoleon also arrives to save the citizens of the Spade Kingdom. I mean, I was just wondering where the guy was with his fire spirit!

So, bro, in the next episode, we’ll get to see the fights involving all three Dark Triad members, which are going to be crazy. In today’s episode, I liked Luck’s fight and Asta’s fight the most. Luck’s fight was only a few seconds long, but that guy delivered quite a punch, and the overall episode was okay.

In my opinion, I would give this episode a rating of 8.5/10.

By the way, what do you think?
