Wistoria: Wand and Sword season 3 of the anime is officially set to adapt the Traitor Investigation Arc and the beginning of the Goetia Arc from the manga. Now that Will Serfort and his friends have finally graduated from the Regarden Academy and climbed the Wizard’s Tower, now story gonna darker, high-stakes political and mystery. We saw Two Magia Vander fight at the end of Season 2, after that Will officially joins his assigned faction the Thunder Faction under Zeo. The remaining members of the his classmates are split up and assigned to their respective upper-tier master clans.

Instead of a normal, peaceful orientation, the newly promoted students are immediately handed a deadly, secret mission. They must spy on their own senior mages to root out the high-ranking traitor who helped orchestrate the devastating Terminalia monster attack. Will and his friends face immense psychological stress because they cannot trust their teachers, their seniors, or anyone around them in the Tower. The mystery turns fatal very quickly when the enemy strikes back to protect their identity. While attempting to meet up and share information, Will’s close friend Julius Reinberg is cornered by the dark faction and tragically loses his life. This sparks an all-out retaliation as Will and his remaining allies are forced into battle against the true invaders from Goetia. Will must rely entirely on his unmatched sword skills and the unique combat training of the Thunder Faction to survive.

The official episode count for Wistoria: Wand and Sword season 3 has not been announced yet, but it is highly expected to be 12 episodes long. Because both Season 1 and Season 2 ran for exactly 12 episodes each.
